We’ve enhanced your myCompass experience to make it easier to access your tools, resources, and plan information. These FAQs answer common questions about the myCompass enhancements, including new features and how to manage your newsletter preferences.
Frequently Asked Questions
No — myCompass will remain available while we release enhancements. You’ll be able to sign in as usual and continue using your tools.
No — you can continue signing in with your existing HealthSafe ID®.
No — all your account information, claims, and settings will remain safe.
The homepage dashboard has been refreshed to make your tools and resources easier to access.
Standard and High members can now see claims and plan accumulators at a glance, quickly access member ID cards, UMR, and Optum Rx®, view plan brochures from the homepage, and explore programs and resources more easily.
Medicare Advantage members won’t have claims, accumulators, or ID cards on the homepage dashboard, but you’ll still see updated access to news, plan brochures, programs, and resources, making it easier to find what you need.
Once the new experience is live, all members can update how they receive the Compass Connection newsletter through the new Communication Preferences page in myCompass. You can choose a digital copy by email or a mailed paper copy. To update your preferences:
- Sign in to myCompass and click My Account
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu
- Go to Communication Preferences
- Find Compass Connection Newsletter and select your preference
- Click Save
Single sign-on (SSO) links to our partners, like UMR and Optum Rx, are available directly from your homepage dashboard. On different devices, the layout may vary, but all tools are easy to access from the main page.
No — you won’t be able to use the old version once the enhanced myCompass experience is launched.
No — myCompass remains secure. You can continue signing in as usual.
No — you can continue using member.compassrosebenefits.com to sign in.

Medicare Advantage members will continue to manage their plan through retiree.uhc.com/compassrose. You can also sign in to myCompass to see the updated homepage experience, including news, brochures, and easy access to available resources. Medicare Advantage members won’t have claims or member ID card tools on the myCompass homepage dashboard.
